I am so glad this happened while the site was still up and running, because had it surfaced two weeks from now, that load Jack Osbourne would never get a Google alert in his email from me, gleefully gloating that the show was axed.
Yup, it’s true! That reboot of “The Osbournes” is dead in the fucking water.
“We are no longer talking to the Osbournes about a series; that’s not going to happen,” VH1’s executive vice president of original programming and production Susan Levison told The Hollywood Reporter.
“We wish we could have worked it out, but it just didn’t come together for us,” she said. “The family has been absolutely lovely and we wish them the best. We’d love to figure out a way to work with them at some point in the future.”
Fuck that. I just want these Osbournes to all go away. Except Ozzy. Ozzy’s alright. These rest of ’em are money-hungry mooches.
Jack may have been responsible for the show falling apart. In early April, he filed several lawsuits against companies he partially owns, one of which Jack alleged was attempting to unjustly claim revenue for future episodes of “The Osbournes.”
Jack’s a douche. Always has been, always will be.
Jack wrote me an email once.
